I would love to see the return of 15 rounds, for title fights.

    Does anyone agree?

Also, does anyone think that they will return at some point in the not too distant future?

    Regards, Loudon.

No. Only because fighters have terrible stamina with a FEW exceptions which would make for horrible fights full of clinching and terrible pot shoting with no pop into the shot.

I would love to see the return of 15 round fights but don't believe it will happen.

Yes and no. At first I voted yes, because the true great 15 are all 15 rounders. But in hindsight no, these guys just don't have the stamina to fight 15. No point in making 15 rounds when only pacman and floyd could do it. It would act as an equalizer though. Guys with speed like lara could be caught, guy with power would need more than power to win. 15 rounds can turn a smmall man big and a big man small

I don't understand how old-school fighters could fight for 15 rounds or MORE and modern fighters with advanced training, nutrition and PEDs cant.

yes. it creates many more momentum swings in fights and forces fighters to alter strategy a lot more. fatigue will truly test a mans heart.

Yes. because we would see a massive reduction in the record inflated, undefeated 0 whoring fighters that are paraded around as the next big thing and are almost always style over substance... often times barely holding on while actually fighting a tough, determined fighter they can't look like a million bucks for more than 10 or 12 rounds.

Examples of wilting petunias who wouldn't be relevant today if we had more non tital 12 rounders and 15 round title fights?

Amir Khan against Marcos Maidana, Julio Diaz and Peterson?

Kell Brook against Carson Jones, including their upcoming reduced 10 rounder. Surprise surprise!

Saul Alvarez making a ****ing fool of himself after gassing against Trout.

It's easier to make mediocre fighters shine, to polish a turd, in situations where they have to actually fight less than they would have before.

You can throw Matthyse against Alexander and Judah in there as well... Especially against Alexander. ****in' 10 rounders. Pffffft.
