Would you like to see the return of 15 round fights?

You make it sound like it'd be a new concept.

We had 15 rounds for years and years.

Not all fighters lost due to fatigue, and not all fights were boring.

A lot of fighters DID lose to fatigue though.
What's boxing going to be about, who's the fittest?

15 round had its day, it went down to 12 rounds for a reason. Its more action packed.

I am of the opinion that the big heavyweight fights of 70s were more exciting than the big heavyweight fights of the past decade or so.

The reason was the health concern of the fighters, not to make the sport more exciting.

That's due to the boxers involved, not how many rounds are in a fight!

Could you imagine sitting though 15 rounds of Haye vs Wlad?
    :(

    That to.

Obviously boxing less rounds is more helpful to ones health.
    Its not rocket science.

You make it sound as though every 12 round fight is action packed, and a 15 rounder wouldn't be.

    I said more action packed.

As I said it'll be about who the fittest is.

Throwing punches for 9 more minutes when you're already knackered is more harmful to the body then the first three minutes of the bout.

Let me ask you a question.
    you'd you rather watch race.

    A 100m sprint or a marathon?

no it wasn't, the actual reason was a 12 round fight can be fit into a hour, a 15 round fight could be a hour and a half. Yes it started with the dude Mancini killed technically but that wasn't really the reason it changed.

The outcome of a lot of fights would be different but then again, fighters careers would be cut short from the more sustained punishment they would endure. I think 15 rounders put a lot more strain and caused a lot more long term health problems for the old time fighters IMO than the 12 round title fights do today.

I'd like to see 15 rounders back because when I watch back my old tapes, the last three was unpredictable.

I'm happy with 12 though, I think that's enough to justify who is the better man. It's the judging that's the problem. Bringing back 15 round fights won't change that, I think people look at 15 rounders as some sort of solution. It's not.

Its one of them things where once you take it out you can never add it back
Hardly any boxer would last 15 rounds the fact that they train for 12 and can barely last that i doubt alot of them would last 15, at least one boxer would die or get damaged badly in the first year of adding it back

12 is ok sometimes too long sometimes too short, but 15 will always be too long
