I voted yes. I think that effort is a perfect send off to his long and illustrious career.

That said, who am I to say? Wladimir can potentially still recapture a belt over the age of 40, which would undoubtedly enhance his already stellar career.

Yes, I think so. He has a young family and has already been hit in the head more than enough.

It's a good question. As far as I can see, he can still box and to quite a high level to boot. Rather than looking at his age and the contour of his career, I prefer to think of the potential quality and entertainment that he can still offer the division. In other words, based on his level of performance I see no real reason for him to retire. Only he knows how motivated he is to continue, however. If he's motivated and hungry, I'd say: carry on.

The precautionary warning flag is of course historical precedent, which might best advise that the prescient course of action is to hang them up. I see sports changing across the board, however (trending to sportsmen hitting their prime later and prolonging their prime into a much older age than before).

Finally, Wlad sure takes care of himself, so he's probably an extremely fit and tuned 41 year-old and could probably maintain himself quite well for a few more years.

Right after the fight I was hoping he would retire, but after re-watching it and seeing how well he did, and how badly he had Joshua hurt, ( and even dropped ) and how many rounds Wlad won, I think it would be a shame if he did not take the rematch

I'd like him to go out with a W, there's only Aj I don't believe he could ever beat. He landed many of his best shots on a hurt Aj and that's not happening again.

He could beat anyone else, only if he's still truly obsessed with winning.. if that last fight took that obsession I'd want him to not fight a top 5. He could just train casually and beat the rest.

Dudes power and technique are frightening

I wouldn't fault him either way. After a fight like that I don't believe Wlad does need to go out with a win against a much lesser opponent. Wlad showed he had heart, a chin and came a very close second to a guy 14 years younger in the best heavyweight fight for a long time.
