No bc there's no competition out there for him. If your gonna call him a cherry picker, back it up with some facts.

Mayweather wont fight him. Ortiz, Bradley, Berto and the rest would get completely outclassed. Martinez is too big. Don't blame Pacquiao that the competition out there is stale. Just be glad he's giving us more fights and not retiring which he's earned the right to do a long time ago.

Why can't people just accept nobody from 147 down can beat Manny, even one notch north at 154.

Now the one people expecting to be competitive is out somewhere beating security guards and women, lately some bouncers on the side.

So you just assume these 2 fighters would be outclassed without giving them a chance?
Whilst facing a fighter who pacquiao beat years ago, and since has declined while pacquiao has rose to being one of the best fighters in the world.
Stop living in 2006. This fight has no relevance and is just as worse as the mosley fight.
Fighting Ortiz or bradley makes more sense.

Did you lose respect when PBF fought him and did not respect their contract either?

No. There's no other big name besides Martinez and Mayweather for him to fight.

It's the 144 that gets me. He sat right next to JMM and said 145 is close to all he could give from eating to bulk, even having eaten a bunch of rice the day of the weigh-in. The Pacquiao team knows they have an advantage with the almost fully welterweight version of Pac even if its not at 147. 140 would already be a stretch for JMM to begin with.

Lose respect for fighting him? Not at all. The weight? Quite a bit I think.

What if jmm official weight is 135 or let say 138, would it be an advantage of him? lol Point is he can weight what ever he wants cause he wast force to weight in exactly 144lbs.

They only make more sense on paper. But you know they wouldn't stand a chance. JMM would have a better chance then both just based on his style and skills. He put on a good showing in his last fight too.

I'd rather see him fight Ortiz. Heck, Ortiz would be an easy, showcase fight for Manny.

Marquez is stylistically a more difficult fight for Pacquiao..can't really lose respect for him taking the more difficult fight.

No...I have a lot of respect for PAC and his career. Sure....JMM isn't the toughest fight for him, but there are few who were more dangerous than Shane even though PAC is getting a bad wrap for taking that fight. He could have faced Andre Berto who now is not considered the type of fighter who would trouble Manny after the Ortiz loss. PAC could fight Victor but cries of his loss and him quitting at the hands of Miadana would ring out as an excuse to why PAC won. Bottom line.....PAC, for SOME...will never get the repsect he desvers...but the the large majority know what time it is.

Make JMM fight at 145-147? Yes, losing my respect big time. Fight at 135-138? More even. Isn't losing my respect.
