Would you lose respect for Pacquiao if he fights JMM?

I would not lose any respect for Pacquiao for taking a third fight with Marquez. First of all I would like to see this fight, it's an intriguing fight, it will also be a great fight, I believe Marquez deserves the shot also, and weight should not be an issue, even if its at 145lbs, because Marquez can come in at approx 140lbs and Pacquiao will be approx 144lbs, Marquez retains agility, lightness and speed and so does Pacquiao, Great Fight.

If your asking me who's going to win, well that's another question, lol

Well, Marquez already got trashed at WW. If Pacquiao is supposedly better than the guy that trashed Marquez at WW, then what exactly is the point of this fight? Even worse, Pacquiao already beat Marquez the last time they fought. Since that time, Pacquiao has seemlessly gone up 3 divisions while looking bigger, stronger, faster, and more powerful. So how exactly is Marques supposed to close the gap?

Because Marquez is coming up two divisions and has not shown that he can effectively fight at the proposed weight. I'll give team Pac some credit though, at least some people are asking for this fight.

I think marquez will go down and try to capture a belt at 140 after the pac fight, but think about this, the trilogy has too happen now, marquez isnt getting any younger, i really get why he wants this big money fight at this point, I would be happy with ortiz, marquez, bradley, martinez at this point, problem is martinez is too big and ortiz is gbp. that leaves us with bradley and marquez, bradley is ayoung guy and has business to take care off that can wait, marquez is a reasonable choice, only should have been at 140, then it would be perfect.

It should've happened a few years ago. Marquez is damn near 40 now and fights two weight classes below Pac. Again Pac is the no.1 p4p fighter and a WW champ. Why are people happy about him fighting a LW?

This is the kind of **** that is hurting boxing. Pacquiao is p4p no.1. Why is it ok for him to fight guys two weight classes below him, but not reasonable for him to go up 1 weight class(where he recently won a title), to fight Martinez? Now I have no problem with Pac not going up in weight, but I have to call him out for fighting guys two weight classes below him. Also why should it matter that Ortiz is with GBP? Mayweather is with GBP, yet people have the expectations that that fight should happen.

Bradley would've been a much better choice. Marquez is a dubious choice IMO. Beating Marquez at this point does nothing for Pacquiao.

Pac will carry the fight for the first 6 rounds for fans to enjoy. He will unleash his fury afterwards by knocking the old man out.

No. Outside of Mayweather, this is about as legit a fight that can be made.

I shouldn't even bother replying to anything that's not on Kirk's Champion thread. Because this is just stupid. Why would I have a problem with a third fight between guys who weigh about three pounds from each other when the first two fights were classics and both are still turning in elite performances?

Don't worry if Floyd's still unavailable Bradly is next. Manny needs to fight Marquez before JMM gets 'old' and 'washed-up'.

Why on earth would he be losing anyone's respect for fighting his toughest opponent (style wise) for a 3rd time?

....and when he beats his ass there you'll find some bull**** excuse to discredit Pac.

Who do you think you're kidding?
