from a business standpoint i think hbo dropped the ball by not having this on ppv....

I think it may have done in the 300k range... maybe even more with some solid advertising

    no

Damn ****ing right I would. It's a different story over here, though- we have to wait and see if a network picks the fight up and if they don't, we have to watch it on a stream.

That said, there is a huge domestic fight that has just been made in the UK for the same date- Jamie Moore V Ryan Rhodes- and hopefully that is a sign that Sky are planning a PPV package that night with Pavlik and Williams making up the American portion of the card:yep:good.

I was kinda hoping it would be PPV so they would add some good undercard fights to it

but damn, if Pavlik-Rubio was ppv why isnt this?

Lol, this PPV would be a serious failure, about 60-90Ks I guess. But as a boxing fan, I think this is a FAR better fight than Mayweather-Marquez for example, so I wouldn't feel ripped off unlike in the case of the televised tax paying procedure of that ****.

1 million % sure.... unless the fight gains a lot of steam and they change it at the last minute... not sure if they can even do that

pavlik vs rubio was a card organized by top rank...top rank did it because it was cotto & pavlik

    Absolutely not.

If only because I'm a poor ****er and I rarely pay for any fights.

But it's a very good fight.
