I'd have to get cable to buy it. So, no. That, plus with my job coming to an end..... my wife has me in 'lock down' on spending.:fire
Even from a financial perspective, HBO stand to gain from having this as a non-PPV event. Neither fighter has a big casual fan following outside their dedicated audiences; but, if this is a war, the victor could become a big name.
Hell yeah! should be an action packed fight. Two guys that don't run or do alot of clinching, these guys just fight. I just want to see how Paul handles a big guy like Kelly. I think Paul will win, he's got the better skills and angles. But how he wins is what I want to see.
I would but you know Arum and his buddies charge us for everything. If we say yes next thing we know it is changed to a PPV fight. The fighters and promoters want the extra money, but in the long run no one will see them fight and they will not be remembered. It is a trade off.
Depends on the price. There still too many fights on PPV. WTF is HBO Championship for anyway if not for these types of fights? Lets all be honest, neither guy is a draw in the sense. No, good thing it is not on PPV.
Neither guy is a ppv draw but real hardcore boxing fans knows that this fight is a way more worthy ppv then Mayweather vs Marquez and Roy Jones vs Jeff Lacy.
Comparing it to **** PPV's doesn't exactly make it worth $50 IMHO. But I did say it depends on the price. Plain and simple, two guys who aren't major names...aren't draws...the fight is exactly where it belongs...on HBO Championship. If we get to the point where any title fight, big name or not, are set for PPV's...we all lose.
No because i could watch it live on hbo. Anyways if it was a PPV fight i would pay for it cuz it's actually an interesting fight.
