Feel sorry for the poor fellow, he appears to be in need of counseling, a good therapist, what a pity.

I think it might be as simple as watching the hook that Cooper put him down with compared to the one Frazier did...WOW.

    Ok guys.

El Gallo Negro who was forever obsessed with criticizing Ali was banned on a certain date. Just by chance another poster showing much the same traits joined on the very same day.

A simple case of connect the dots?

That poster must be having an identity crises or split personality. Must have watched 3 Faces Of Eve, starring Joanne Woodward, they are relating to that character. All this alt stuff and fake identities sounds kind of corny, attention seeking. Kind of reminds of a patient I once took care of, he said that he turned into a were wolfe at sundown, he was ill, and could not help it, but these alts or trolls could, and they honestly believe we buy that different identity stuff. I only pity them, they are in need of help.

If you think about it my friend, posters like that do not have a social life on the outside, they do not have friends, mommy and daddy did not pay any attention tp them. They come here, disguise themselves as another poster, it is not Halloween, that is not until Oct 31 2021. Next thing you know, one of those trolls or person with the split personality will ask one of us to take them trick or treating. I do not buy their balogna, they need to grow up.

I dont think anyone is stopping Ali. That chin was solid granite
I'd like to add in that anyone who thinks Tyson stops Ali is absolutely comical IMO. The man NEVER BEAT AN ELITE FIGHTER PERIOD! Dont drag up Holmes either. He was retired for 2 yrs or so and was shot when he was retired let alon 2 yrs later.

Physically yes, but his skills had not degraded, Tyson's had, that's the main point I was making.

I'd bet on Mike to stop him and I'm no comedian. I'd also give a chance to Lewis and Wlad.

I don't know if it was the hardest, but I reckon it was the best placed punch, alongside the one Frazier hit him with in the 15th round. Both were on the jaw, that's why he went down.
Shavers also landed 2 or 3 powerful punches, but those were overhand right hands, so they caught the upper part of Ali's face, thus not inflicting as much damage. Ali also had a better chin in the first half of the 70s.
Foreman hit him with powerful body punches.

I know that, that's what I was explaining above, that punch placement matters a lot.

Morrison and Tua never landed as clean as Rahman and McCall. I reckon the punch Rahman landed on him could pretty much take out any HW. Or at least hurt him a lot.

I will watch the fights again, and then I will get back to you.

I remember Foreman said he managed to land a really hard body punch that hurt Ali, not a shot to the chin and that he was mentally beaten due to Ali taunting him: "Is that all you got George ?"

For me, the 1940 Census (coupled with his appearance and testimonies) is conclusive enough. As for those testimonies, they are from people close to him. I've read books about Liston's life and they are mentioned there. Those people are long dead, so there are no recordings of them talking about it, if that is what you meant. The doctor that did Liston's autopsy also said he had the physical traits of a 50 year old.

Shavers definitely could punch. But I agree shot for shot, using both hands, there were equally as hard or harder punchers.

I tend to agree its anl tall order to pick someone stop Ali. His chin was excellent , not the best but mixed with his recovery powers, ring IQ, the ability to think on his feet to survive a round. The desire to win. All that made him the best heavyweight I ever saw.
But....here is the thing. There is really nobody better equipped than Mike Tyson. Just saying if you gotta send a guy in there to tear Ali's head off, Mike your guy.. it isn't about greatness, more about ability, power, speed, combination.
Mike Tyson matches up well with Ali. Ali would have to adjust to Tyson's quickness. Muhammad wouldn't make
Tyson back up. Mike would be able have that forward momentum and fire off his explosive shots. Im thinking of the guy who won the Heavyweight title younger than anybody. Unified all 3 Championship Belts, putting the fear of God in most of the fighters at that time. Defended the title 9 times.
When the bell sounded they wouldn't be swapping resumes
