Would You Pick RIGONDEAUX Over DONAIRE (?)

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by What If I Lose?, Sep 29, 2012.

  1. Especially after seeing how the 2 decent punches that Marroquin landed hurt Rigo bad?

Rigo also got dropped by a Cordoba jab. Cuban glass is at its breaking point. Ironically, Arum might be keeping Rigondeaux AWAY from Donaire.

    :deal

Rigo without a shadow of a doubt.

  4. The truth is Rigo's chin is paper.

    :hi:

Donaire doesn't have to land a flush power shot... he just has to touch Rigo and then put him away.

Yes Rigondeaux wins unless Donaire reverts back to his old self and stops trying to be Mr. Knockout artist

Your entitled to your opinion...however I wonder why Donaire is not so eagar to get in the ring with Rigondeaux.:thumbsup

  7. But you SAW, along with the rest of the world, how weak Rigo's chin is.

Yes, Rigondeaux is far superior in terms of skill. Great matchup though. Doubt it'll ever happen. ''FMJ/Pac v.2''

  9. It's easy to look spectacular against C-level no hopers and bums. Donaire stretches out everyone on Rigo's resume in under 6 rounds. Rigo looked like **** against Marroquin, who is between C and B level.

    Rigo's fought NOBODY. NOBODY.

No. Rigo has great defense and you can tell he has a solid background and great fundamentals, but Donaire is a special fighter. He has power and speed, and he's shown he can take a punch, and can fight in more than one way.

Rigo also seems to have a lot of trouble taking flush punches, and Donaire will land flush at some point.

Rigo's right hook also leaves a lot to be desired. Donaire can get carried away with one punch at times, but he has almost every punch in the book.

We might see his right hook and right uppercut come more into play in a fight with Rigo. While he doesn't throw it very often, something tells me it has knockout written all over it.

Donaire is already the truth and he's proven it.

  15. TWICE with brutal KOs over guys that were perceived as unstoppable monsters.
