Did anyone watch the Maroqquin fight? Donaire has shown that he has plenty of heart like Maroqquin showed in that fight, but he far more skilled and has both KO power and dyanmic offense.

Is Rigo asking for this fight? I don't understand why Rigo would want to jump from a Maroqquin level opponent to Donaire. It doesn't make any sense.

He would be best suited to fighting someone like Mares, who is no push over himself, before getting in the ring with Donaire.

That's just my opinion, but I think it's valid.

Donaire by TKO2. Rigo gets dropped once, gets up. Donaire rushes on him and the fight gets stopped. People will complain that it was a premature stoppage but Rigo was literally out on his feet. Rigo calls for a rematch saying that the ref shouldn't have stopped it but never gets the rematch.

Your opinion is respected but if Nonito comes to fight against Rigo :head hunting like he did against WV2 and Mathebula, throwing those wild swings and getting hit like he did...he's gonna be up for a long night.Or maybe a short one.

I agree that Donaire needs to set up his shots, but there is no guarentee that Rigo can take one of his shots if he does land.

I think it's safe to say that Rigo doesn't seem to be able to take a good shot, but he has shown good instinct in his ability to tie up, Donaire can throw with both speed and power, so if Rigo gets hit and tries to tie up, he may not be able to do so in time without getting hit with serious shots.

got rigondeaux unless donaire catches him making a mistake once. Tbh It's quite hard to bet on this fight knowing both bets are risky as hell.

Nonito still packs a punch, but isnt anymore that monster punch who put Vic to dance lambada or sent Montiel to Lala land. After Koing both Vasquez and Mathebula they got up and kept fighting till the end.
Rigo has been rocked but he has shown a capacity to absorbe it and remain in the fight.A few seconds later he is in charge again.Marroquin is a huge SBW,keep it in mind.

    Pick em fight, really.

It maybe a scenario of who lands a big shot first to put the other asleep, tho' Donaire has displayed a solid chin - where as Rigo's is far more suspect.

That said, I don't have a strong desire to see this fight get made. It really has the makings of a stinker due to both guys being natural counter punchers.

I'd much rather see Donaire-Mares. The two still have unfinished business from their 118lb days n which BW supremacy was never established - and of course theirs style would make for a fun fight to watch.

  11. Mares is come forward 24/7. Donaire brutalizes him.

I'm a big fan of both and Rigo is a master boxer, but Nonito looks like a master fighter. Both are in their primes and doesn't matter really what style you have if your reflexes are ready to spring your good to go. Obviously Rigo is the craftier one, but Nonito is more consistent. To me in a way it's good that Nonito can take some shots because he'll be accustomed to them. Either man's fight, but I think Nonito is too active and willing to trade with Rigo. This is almost the a mini version of Floyd-Pacman probably better.

¿ What chin are you talking about you envious troll ? , Rigo got tagged on the SIDE of his head and he recovered pretty quick too . Stop talking crap and tell Nonita to get in the ring with Rigondeaux , enough with the ducking .

I'll take Donaire's professional record over the 300 amateurs and 10 professional fights of Rigo anyday of the week.
