    Fully agree

so many trivial titles dilutes the term "champion"

And some have a regular champion, and a super champion, and an interim..... such bull****.... it's comical

IMO, there should be -one- recognized champion for each weight division

yeh that would be a great idea, it's a shame you have guys like frampton who win a belt off a basic boxer like kiko, then have champion status they can then duck rigo who's the real champion

And Flo.mos wonder why so many people laugh when he talks about how many champions hes beaten. Adrien Broner is a 3 division champ FFS!!! A title doesnt mean as much as it used to.

When I look at the heavyweight division champions and how matching them up is like the resistance you get when you match up the same ends of a magnet - I predict there wont be a unified champion for another 3 or so years.

Having one belt would probably stop all this ducking, postponements and cancellations of fights that we see with our champions of today.

I would love to see that list. And have it listed with the age and weight of the fighters at the time of the fight.

fighters in the 70s /80s used to defend there belts 4 times a year .

now we are down to 1 sometimes 2 .

with 1 belt a good fighter without a good promoter would be frozen out.

it used to happen all the time with 2 belts / with 1 belt a lot of fighters would not get a sniff at a title shot
