Would you rank/look at Floyd any different had he become undisputed?

All that plus Manny at that time was fighting with out any "Retirement Breaks" & was the guy to call the shots given his name & stature so who was Floyd to call in shots over the Commissions/Sanctioning Bodies by his pretense of Olympic Testing which turned out to not even be true Olympics testing to begin with.

 

Exactly, Honestly Floyd was really undisputed at WW. He beat the lineal and would be (had he paid the sanctioning fees) undisputed champion. That's the only reason Zab's undisputed status was fractured, because of money or Baldomirs lack of it

 

Honestly, no. Imo it's all about who you fought, not trophies. Crawford (2x), Inoue, Usky, and Haney are all undisputed. I will not rank those guys above Oscar, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Manny, Floyd, Vernon, Mosley, or Tito because the latter fought better competition.

 

While true, Floyd never seemed to care to try and unify against other title holders. That's always been one of my gripes. Mayorga and Cory Spinks deserve the credit for unifying WW at the time.

I do agree with that, for some reason that green belt was the only one he really ever sought out. He grabbed the WBA a few times but it's almost like he was allergic to the IBF belt
