I assume he means to do the chicken dance en route to getting stopped anyway.

I'd rather fly like Cintron. That's gangsta. Only yogi's can fly.

The chicken dance is nothing to be ashamed of, its a time-honored tradition and a ceremony of manhood, a rite of passage for the untested, an opportunity for valor for all fighters.

I don't think either is embarassment. Takes a lot of guts to get in the ring. I would rather do the chicken dance because maybe there is a chance I could recover. Many guys wobble. My favorite fighter Hearns had his legs wobble in probably in about 9 fights Leonard,Hagler,Andries (2nd round), Roldan (2,3 4 round), Barkley (3rd round), Kinchen (4th 6th, 12th), Leonard (5th,9th,12th round) Delgado (2nd round)Grant (1st round). So look at all that, and he had a great career. Tommy was tall so when he was hurt his legs really showed it.

The chicken dance is just showing that a guy was hurt. If a guy can overcome that, it shows greatness not embarassment. Everytime I was at a boxing match even amateur fights when a guy lost or was knocked out, I notice everyone in the crowd gives the guy who lost a handshake and pats him on the back because everyone knows that to get in that ring takes guts-to go in front of everyone. I am sure anyone who has been to fights knows what I am talking about. We always give the loser just as much acknowledgement and know he was a winner in all ways just to try.
