If you're talking about freakish speed not just hand speed but of both hand speed and reflexes then speed if not then power.

You may have great power, but if your hands get hurt, you can't really apply it, or your opponent can take your best shots, your power no good. You may have great speed, but if you can't hurt your opponents, they won't respect you and walk right thru your punches. You may have great speed, but still get timed. Ring intelligence is more important.

    Rather have Lights out Power.

The ability to knock a man completely unconscious with 1 punch is incredible.

Power. That way if I'm down, I always have that equalizer. Then I can learn how to time, close distance and cut the ring.

I'll take being somewhat well rounded over either.

Speed. You can outbox and neutralize power with speed. If you are Ali, Jones Jr, or Mayweather, no one can hit you. If you are Shavers, Foreman, Dempsey, Marciano, or Liston if you don't get that KO you're ****ed.

    Power.

You can build pretty much any style of boxing around power, you can be a defensive boxer too and use power to make people think twice before closing the distance and pressuring you. Or you can be a GGG-type aggressive stalker. You can also be a counter puncher and rely on timing over speed, with great power you don't need to hit people a lot of times, just a few solid punches land them would slow them down or even stop them.

Power is also the last thing to go so whatever style you'll build around power, it's going to last.

Also, even if you losing every round you still have the chance to turn the fight around with power, giving you the mental edge.

And the most important thing, if you're a powerful puncher with a lot of KOs the chances are you're going to be a big draw and a popular fighter which means more money and the A-side status.
