Would you rather see Pacquiao fight Juan Diaz or Juan Manuel Marquez?

Juan Diaz, we all know what will happen if Pac and JMM will fight @ 130. (Pac will K.O or UD JMM)

He is the best! he beat a prime pac even though he is not prime, He should have won the first match, His draw againts PAC was a fluke, His lost againts John will be forgoten not to mention he gets his biggest payday eva!

If JMM loses...

He ain't his prime anymore, he's old and washed up, SHOT!!! excuses... excuses... excuses... :tired


If PAC wins...

He is the new champion (he doesn't need that recognition anyways), JMM is shot, he beat another old mexican, If they fought 2 years ago he would have lost... :roll:

If PAC loses...

He is overated! He is one dimensional, he was exposed... atsch


Now... whose legacy are we talking about? it seems like JMM has everything to gain and nothing to lose except for that crap belt. PAC has nothing to gain from it probably just the money, that is why you can't blame him if he ask for the bigger share of the purse.


PAC doesn't need this fight to secure his legacy... fighting Young Champions like Diaz will. PAC popularity and fame sky rocketed a long time ago after the first MAB fight but i can't speak for JMM. That is why JMM needs this fight more than PAC to secure his legacy and to get his biggest check, he's getting old! :deal


Don't get me wrong I have no problem If they fight again for it will finally shut up PAC's critics ( i have my full confidence he'll win). But the thread is asking who amongs the two then my answer is Juan Diaz for the reasons that i've already stated above.:deal

He already stomped his legacy on JMM by letting him kissed the canvas three times in 1 round... it doesn't matter how hardcore fans says he was schooled coz the score cards clearly says it wasn't in fact he should have won... if not for the idiot judge.

As for JMM his biggest legacy so far was turning down 750K for 30K to fight in a parking lot somewhere in indonesia... AND LOST!

I would rather see Pac-Juan but as a pacman fan, I would rather have him fight JMM first. JMM is champ, gives him a chance to become a legitimate 130lb champ (I consider him a legitimate champ at 126 since he DID beat the champ there). JMM is p4p and beating him will make him a contender for #1 p4p and definetely secure a #2. JMM is unfinished business, win or loose, this fight needs to happen for boxing. JMM is running out of time, Juan can wait in line.

 

Pac is not young. He will be the same age as the Morales that Pac fought 1st time, 29. Since they have the same style of going to war, shouldnt he be classed as old?

I think he should fight JMM then fight Juan Diaz. Depending on how he performs against Diaz and how comfortable he is at 135, he can either look on the horizon of a possible 140 matchup or have the other guys such as Guzman/Valero/Soto move up to fight him.

You're only ducking a fighter when you step into that division and fail to want to make a fight with the fighter that most would consider a danger.

As long as Pac does'nt fight as a lightweight, he's not ducking any lightweights.....the lightweights that are calling to fight him can go down to 130 lbs if a fight with Pac so interest them.

A fighter ducks fighters when he leaves them behind not wanting to fight them, they dont duck fighters ahead of their weight class!

JMM is 34 but still going strong in that he does'nt have the mileage and been in the wars that fighters like Morales and MAB have been in.

Pac was schooled more than he was beatdown in his losses to JMM and Morales.
.....but he has'nt been in the kind of give and take attrition battles that Morales and MAB were in, for you to be concerned with Pac getting old overnight.

......and if Pac continues to box like he did vs MAB, he can continue to fight at a high level till he's 35!

.....and btw, only the Pac nutswingers here would rather Pac fight Juan Diaz, and its simple really.....if Pac goes without fighting JMM, they can claim that Pac was the best of the mini-fab four, but if he fights JMM, the fear is that JMM will begin where he left off and school the pants off of Manny Pacquiao.....who will history see as the best of the mini-fab four??????

With Juan Diaz, a loss and the excuse is that Diaz was too big, but that Pac at least had the balls to try.......
.....but with JMM, there's no doubt....the legacy of both fighters is at stake, and the Pac swingers fear for Pac's legacy!


Duran-Leonard, Leonard-Hearns, Chavez-Taylor, Holyfield-Tyson, there are'nt many chances to be involved in a fight in a fight that establishes and defines a fighter for all-time......that is what JMM vs Pac will be all about......its one of those fights that has both fighters under a microscope, win of lose to be exposed to boxing history.
