@Dubblechin Claims Wilder doesn't need Joshua as he can get to 50-0 by just 'picking off the WBC top 15 list'.....and that would be a better achievement. Which would you rather have?
Do you think I literally have **** for brains? Quit patronizing me you sleazy obsessive weasel, this is yet another reason to make a Wilder-AJ thread, and a terribly thinly veiled one at that, since you mention them both in your opening post.
Actually, I was interested to see the general view on what people on here consider to be the better standard of achievement. I just thought quoting an intelligent and well respected member of the forum in the OP would add an opinion to which people can either agree with or disagree.....Unfortunately i couldn't find one, so i had to quote @Dubblechin 's
No, you're not, you trying to say AJ being Undisputed HW is more impressive than Wilder going 50-0 against subpar competition, and if you think you're pulling the wool over everyone's eyes and being clever, maybe its you that has **** for brains. If you want to have a discussion with an intelligent and respected member of the forum, then PM him.
Undisputed champion is obviously a greater accomplishment as you have to defeat all of the other champions in your division. Anybody can line up 50 bums off the street to pad their record.
I mostly agree, I personally put very little stock in total wins/losses because of what you just pointed out. But I guess you could concoct scenarios where becoming the undisputed champion wouldn't require any particular skill/ability. Eg, Terrible boxer challenges an undisputed champ and wins on account on freak injury (think Glazkov/Martin freak injury).
Neither is really all that impressive in this day and age to be honest. If youre 50-0 that just tells me you never challenged yourself and if you win the undisputed hw title today its not saying much because the division while entertaining doesnt have any legit greats active right now.
