I wouldn't really look at Gatti as being some overachiever. Maybe in terms of dollars and popularity, but not in terms of wins.

Gatti had some decent boxing skills and athleticism himself, he probably wouldn't have had some of those wars and losses if he trained harder and took better care of himself.

I would like to see Floyd in there with someone who will push him to use all of his talents. The guy is a magnificent athlete and I would like to witness all of his ability. As of late, he's been playing keep away with us and his opponents, relying heavily on his defense and evasive tactics and not giving us (the fans) the show that we want. It will remain this way until he is willing to give in and sign for a fight where he does not have all of the advantages over his opponent and where there is a live element of danger involved.

I am a fan of Floyd and I'm not totally discounting his recent wins but bring on Shane before he is too old and slow. Otherwise, its the same old song and dance.

I like both for difrent reasons. As a boxing fan how can you not like the wat Gatti put every thing physicaly on the line get knocked down get back up style? As a boxing fan how can you not like the percision in which Mayweather practices his craft?
I understand having favrotes but I don't understand the hate some boxers get.

A Gatti fight can still set my pulse to racing. Same deal with the guy in my avatar, and he's been retired for 30 years. PBF has never made my heart race.

Not everyone is hating on Floyd you know. Basically he just meant that Gatti is the type of fighter who would give 110% effort despite his limited skills. "Done more" meaning digging deep and giving it his everything (even though he still loses)

After the Mayweather fight I noticed it was on another channel so we gave it a look, was funny as hell seeing this tomato can feast on the children of the taxi drivers his father fought. Chavez Jr. was LITERALLY three times bigger and KO'd the nurse in one round, the nurse was stopped on his feet. Got to love how they're slowly handpicking specific kindergarten drop-outs now to make him look Tyson-like. One thing I can't deny, this tomato can who's considered "2nd generation" made us laugh really hard.

Did he say he wants to fight Pacquiao and DLH?

One punch from Pac and this guy would go back selling tomato juice alongside his father in the alleys of California.
