When has Floyd ever fought a fighter as good as Donaire?

I don't think it's hard to figure out that the people booing were Donaire fans getting frustrated with seeing their look like a chump.

And anyway, the booing doesn't mean ****. American fans are pathetic with their booing - off the top of my head there was booing in Broner-Rees and Bradley - Prodhdiskdhdud. They're idiots.

 

Even when there was exchanges Rigo still was winning the exchanges.

 

That one moment in the 4th i believe, when Nonito counters Rigo with a left hook, stuns him a bit and Rigo immediatley comes back and clocks him with a hard straight left was absolute boss.

 

Donaire didn't fight like an elite fighter though. He didn't use a jab, he didn't cut off the ring, didn't impose his will, he didn't do anything.

Its not like Donaire gave Rigo plan A, B, C and Rigo had a answer for everything. Yea he beat Donaire soundly but Donaire also made it real easy for him.

I stand corrected he didn't land that punch to the body, it hit Donaire's arm/elbow. I thought it hit the body. The angle on HBO when they were showing it as it was happening had Donaire's back to the camera.

 

This, everytime Rigo was trading i was like wtf are you doing couldnt concentrate on the fight properly
I've watched it 2 more times, didnt get bored at all its a beauty to watch

 

What is watching Donaire then? He threw less, landed less, showed less skill and got beaten up. If Rigondeaux is boring then what does that make Donaire?

This. What boxing fan wouldn't want to watch one of the most talented boxers in the entire world put his skills on display? This is a stupid thread. Besides, all of Rigondeaux's fights aren't like the Donaire fight. He knocks people out in a lot of his fights. Remember, he was fighting a top 5 pound-for-pound fighter who has a terrific chin. I tell you, some people on this site are nothing short of stupid.
