Well the people who like it aren't real fans, I,loved this and I'm surprised people found it boring, maybe people don't understand what Rigo was throwing.

Im surprised some are you arent saying things like "oooh did you see it when Rigo picked his nose in round 6 wow what a master class" oh and "when he scrached his ass in round 9 oooof". Watching this fight reminded me of the time I watched paranormal activity and theres some jokers who jump at every scene because nothing bloody happens in the movie so as soon as theres a noise everyone jumps. This fight was like that. Nothing happens because Rigo runs most of the fight and as soon as he throws a punch you guys get a hardon!

1.Your not a real boxing fan.
2.It was a Pro Donaire crowd ,their fighter lost....of course the were booing.
    3. Just as many writers praised Rigo for his performance. These are from the first google page that I searched.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/donaire-vs-rigondeaux-results-show-jackal-no-joke-045000788--box.html

The phrase "ring generalship" gets thrown around quite a bit in boxing circles, but perhaps no other active fighter defines the term so well. Rigondeaux is sensationally calm and collected in the pocket, and he's always at ease.
He completely dictated the terms of this fight in terms of its pacing and location, and which man was getting his shots off first. There are many ways to envision any fighter losing on any given day, but it was hard to imagine Donaire being so easily turned into a trudging plodder.

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...t-the-win-means-for-the-jackal-moving-forward

Those wondering whether or not Rigondeaux was worth the hype got plenty of evidence as to his true talent. This is a fighter Freddie Roach has gone on record labeling as one of the best he's ever seen.
The way Rigondeaux outclassed Donaire was a masterful display. This isn't a fighter who's looked great against weak opposition and then wilted against tougher fighters. Boxing has always been full of paper champions. Rigondeaux is not one of those boxers.

    http://www.badlefthook.com/2013/4/1...results-guillermo-rigondeaux-scores-the-upset

Rigondeaux (12-0, 8 KO) boxed beautifully in the early rounds, looking faster, sharper, more accurate, and simply better-prepared than Donaire (31-2, 20 KO). Nonito looked downright slow in comparison to Rigondeaux, which is not a knock on Donaire, who is a terrific fighter. Rigondeaux, in the post-fight words of his vanquished foe, simply used "beautiful boxing" to win this fight, and Donaire offered only a minor excuse, that he needs to get shoulder surgery.

If your nickname is The Flash shouldn't you be able to catch the older, less experienced guy in front of you?

I didn't see any running. I saw a lot of slick movements which made Donaire look like a dumb caveman thinking, "Hey! How am I supposed to eat you for dinner if you don't stand still and let me grab you?"

Donaire is not a good inside fighter which he could be with his left hook. He needs to be like Mike Tyson or Julio Cesar Chavez. These know how to cut the ring off very effectively.

Love his skills but he seems difficult to market without an EXCITEMENT! vibe. Boxers have different angles on promotion but it seems Team Rigo is at a loss. So I believe with Tim Bradley. Just because I enjoy him technically dominant, doesn't mean I want to see twelve steady rounds of it. It begins to feel like you're watching someone get picked on from the sidelines.

If Rigondeaux had Malinaggi face...his fights would have been prescribed by Gay MDs to overcome instinctive homophobia

Hes a great fighter. May not appeal to the casual boxing fan who only wants slugfests, but if you are a true fan you should appreciate his greatness. If youd rather watch paint dry I question your fandom for the sport.
