I was thinking Mayweather was smart enough to at least budget his money, and not to overspend.

Mosley turned down the deal because his ego wouldn't allow him to take the short end of the payday for a third time against Oscar after beating Oscar twice.

Mosley was then going to fight Mayorga, but Mayorga ended up losing to Stinks in December 2003, so then Mosley signed to fight Wright.

you would think of your legacy? Quit trying to live vicariously through his life and Lucian Bute's. That's why you're broke and stuck to posting on ESB.

How about pleasing the fans? The haters are not the only ones that want him to fight the top contenders

I maybe crazy but not stupid. Why the hell would anybody refuse $30 Mil?

Put that amount into time deposit and you can live a simple decent life just with the interest alone.

    :yep

The thing with Floyd now, he made himself more of a name. He has bargaining chips. ODH cant PUNK him but so much. It would be like 55-45 if they fight again. Floyd can make a big fight without ODH and ODH likewise. But a rematch will get the casual fans attention and do big numbers ESPECIALLY if they do the drama thing with Floyds father the trainer now. Imagine Floyd Sr. and Roger on 24/7 competing against each other for a showdown of words...lol. That **** would make my day. But anyway, this fight is the devil and needs to be destroyed. I have 0 interest, but seeing floyd sr on the opposite side of roger and Floyd would be comedy. They would talk **** in the ring during the breaks..lol

So it would be okay to take the fight if Floyd gets parity?

Either way, most fighters would take the rematch with Oscar and the massive payday that comes with it, but we can still complain as boxing fans.

    This fight is blah......

If I was in Mayweather's shoes, I'd think of my legacy first. He's already got plenty of money.
