Leonard did was Mayweather did. He was watching Hearns and Hagler get in wars during 5 years he didn't fight anyone. That is half a decade of fights Hagler and Hearns were in, so he comes back and beats Marvin after all the wars, but he underestimated Hearns, and Tommy used his experience in a fight he should have won a decision in 1989.

Yeah, an old DLH who was about to retire and lost on a split decision. Floyd then backed out from a rematch.

I thought odh looked strong, he previously kod mayorga and oscar had a good training camp. for me, mayweather simply was the better boxer, avoiding a lot and rarely getting punched clear, in the opposite may hit oscar a lot with some clear punches.

but thats why I made that thread, because everybody seem too have an excuse why mayweather isnt that good.

The way Mayweather has been avoiding Pac makes me suspicious.

Look at it like this: people give crap to PBF, dismissing all of his previous opponents. His ducking of Pac adds credibility to this argument. It is easy to believe that he is ducking Pac because he doesn't see Pac as too old, to small or too shot.

So why didn't he duck his previous opponents? Because he did think they were old, small or shot.

If only Mayweather would fight Pac. I think he is likely to win (but his own reluctance is making me doubt myself there). All of the speculation would end.

He is doing himself no favours. At least - he is doing himself no favours if he thinks he would win. If he thinks he would lose, then it is obvious why he wont fight.

As what the critics said, Floyd himself many times played down Shane Mosley and you all said he was 'ducking'. So what happens, Floyd fights him (as the critics wanted him too), dominates him and then gets more criticism after for fighting a 'old, shot fighter'

It is a lose-lose situation. When he beats Pac you will all be calling for him to face Martinez.

If Floyd only comes out in hiding and ACCEPT to fight Pacquiao, maybe some would start to respect him.

This is the fight he needs to do that. He knows that himself.

floyd got tremendous amount of credit beating even an old shane and it was the biggest win of his welter career. yes the same shane that people thinks is a crap fight for pacquiao now.

so you think as a floyd fan that it is better for him to continue to avoid the pac fight and not fight anymore?

of course he did. mosley was his biggest win at welter. of course it's not as much when you have baldomir and judah as your other top welter wins.
