Would you say Tyson Fury is one of Wlad's top ten opponents?

Not at all: In no particular order

    Byrd
    Brewster
    Brock
    Ibragimov
    Chambers
    Chagaev
    Rahman
    Thompson
    Haye
    Povetkin

All have accomplished more than Fury, and head2head I think all beat Fury except Byrd (size difference far too great). There's quite a few others I could add as well. Fury is nowhere near top level of what Wlad has fought.

I'm pretty sure that on October 25th nobody will say he was one of Wlad's top10 opponents.

For Wlads style one of the hardest. Not to say he could beat all smaller man Wlad has beat but against Wlad he will be effective

Fury really hasn't achieved all the much, Chisora is his best win and then he has 2 wins over gate keepers in Cunningham and Johnson.

I guess you could arguably make a case for him creeping into the bottom of the 10 ten, but that's the best he does based off of current achievements.

I expect this as well. A part of me thinks Wlad will put on a Pulev like demolition job on Fury.

Haye destroyed Chisora in more convincing fashion than Fury ever did. Haye also beat a title holder in Valuev and a former title holder in Ruiz. While both not great wins for Haye it's still better than anything on Fury's resume, how many heavyweight title holders has Fury beaten?

Haye was also a clear favourite when they were meant to fight. So I'd say Haye was clearly a better opponent than Fury based on current knowledge.

i was talking about chisora being such a "great win" for Haye...yet the guy that beat chisora twice wouldnt rank in the top 10 for wlad because of the haters on here

I know, I just don't think a couple of wins over Chisora is definitely going to rank Fury into Wlad's top ten opponents and I rate Chisora higher than most here.

I think Fury has a good enough resume that it can be argued he has a place at the lower end of the top 10 but he's not a shoe in, there's a few fighters who you could interchange in the lower end of the top 10.

Fury's resume is a little thin apart from the Chisora's wins, Haye's has a little more depth which is why he ranks better than Fury for the moment.

No Jennings sucks. Plain and simple. He did before the fight and he still does now. Although he may improve slightly in a few years.

And Jennings wasn't in there just 'surviving' .One again you prove you have no clue what you're looking at when you watch a fight.

I saw Wlad back peddling and running away from Jennings countless times. Then there was the unbelievable amount of times the ref warned Wlad for holding before taking away a point - so how dafuk was Jennings responsible for spoiling?? :rofl:nut:huh

Jennings was in Wlads wheel house all night long in a ring that was the smallest in professional boxing. He used simple movement and that was enough to expose Wlads limited skills.

Wlad refused to sparr Fury. He said - i don't want to sparr Fury

    Wlads best opponents.

    Brewster - Loss
    Sanders- Loss
    Peter- Deserved two DQ losses.
Haye- Too scared to fight Fury.
    Povetkin- Deserved a DQ loss.

Alexander Povetkin - had baby title, Olympic medal, top 2
David Haye – had World Title, top 5
    Kubrat Pulev – Top 2
    Tony Thompson – Top 5
Sultan Ibragimov – had World Title, top 5
Ruslan Chagaev – SHOULD HAVE HAD World Title (beat Valuev), top 5
Chris Byrd – had World title, top 5
Sam Peter – used to have world title, top 10
Lamon Brewster – used to have world title, top 10

So Tyson Fury may compete for the last spot, but I think beating a roided Marius Wach or crafty Bryant Jennings has more weight.

Considering Fury resume I say top 15, could change in the future.
