Groves has come on leaps and bounds in the last 3 years since that fight.

Taking on Anderson would be going backwards, he should keep his eyes on tracker for a world title shot.

I agree its a step backwards in many ways but thats due more to Andersons lack of activity or notable wins than anything Groves has shown. Since the de gale fight he has been in full on prospect mode battering guys he should be battering - hasn't beaten a fringe contender yet so all the same flaws may still be there as soon as the going gets tough, only my opinion as most seem to see him coming on in leaps but jury still out for me big time. I would argue de gale has made bigger strides since without the fan fare.

I'd have to disagree with you there.

I'd say both Groves and Degale have fought similar level opponents since they fought, but Groves has put in the more eye catching and exciting performances.

Groves more exiting but more flawed also id say, not much in it though no matter which way you swing it's, reckon they are both well on course but Groves just has this kill or be killed way as soon as he takes a shot or 2 which surely smells trouble when he steps up. Gonna be great to watch whatever happens.
