would you take less money to prove you are the best if you fight for the people?

Yes Arum asked for the OSDT.
Yes Arum set the date and venue without negotiating with Floyd.
Yes Arum asked more than 50% of the split.

    :lol::lol:

fact : mayweather set hes usual date of may 5th and announced it early december? maybe late nov
fact: mayweather has asked for OSDT for many fighters he has face now which pacquiao has now agreed to
fact: bob arum disputed the date for the following reasons
pacquiao had a cut sufferd in the marquez fight that would not be healed by them (a fishy excuse as it is but then goes on to say pacquiao could fight late april against marquez?)

after that excuse was debunked he brang up the whole temp stadium bull**** (which he had NEVER mentioned in the years of negotiations between pac and may)

lets not forget the most HYPED fight in boxing history apparently needed more time to promote.... which is my personal fav excuse by the way

and lets add insult to injury by worrying about mayweather the biggest cash cow in boxing's financial status by asking for a gaurenteed purse.

mayweather has asked the same things for years now he has asked for OSDT, pacquiao finallyagrees (props to him) and mayweather dident put up another roadblock like arum

he asked for a bigger split (which seeing as he is the bigger draw (not by much he deserves). pacquiao agrees, stating he was willing to take less to get the fight the people want to see MADE (massive props)

LETS BE REAL HERE.. pacquiao aient the problem and neither is floyd.... i dont think floyd has asked anything un reasonable, bob arum on the other hand HAS

BOB ARUM DOES NOT GIVE A **** ABOUT BOXING he cares about money (thats what a promoter does FYI), he also cares about holding down floyd as much as possible. why is that you ask? well because floyd left bob arum because he was getting ripped off which by the way he is still fighting to get money from arum from the gatti and judah fights

DLH also successfully left bob arum
but the best part is that MANNY PACQUIAO attempted to leave (though was bound by contract)

WHEN HAS MANNY PACQUIAO EVER! TAKEN INITIATIVE!? it must be pretty ****ing shitty being with arum for pacquiao to want out wouldent you agree?

99% of true boxing fans know the facts, they know the ins and outs of the sport , they know about promoting and who bob arum is

ARUM IS TO BLAME FOR HOLDING THE FIGHT UP!
sure you can blame floyd for asking for OSDT but if pacquiao agreed to it then its no longer an issue
you can even put a little blame on pacquiao for not taking more initiative and publically calling floyd out after one of hes many fights recently instead of this "talk to my promoter" backseat stuff

BUT YOU CANNOT DENY BOB ARUM IS THE SOLE REASON THIS FIGHT IS NOT HAPPENING

he is making pacquiao money , maintaining hes public image and holding back floyd from getting the biggest win of hes career

seeing as you asked so nicely im 21.

well when asked infront of MILLIONS if he wanted to fight floyd mayweather he should say YES!, i want mayweather

manny may have agreed on a venue and date (though i dont recall him ever agreeing to this, i will however take your word on that) though bob arum still used those excuses... even after stating "at the end of the day its up to manny who he wants to fight"

    so how does that work?

(i love your childish insults fyi especially after enquiring about my age, if you admire pacquiao so much perhaps you should atleast attempt to be more loving) or you know.. just give me the same basic respect i give you

EDIT: also you label me a "*****"... i thought everyone agreed both *****s and *******s are die hard blind fans of either fighter who know nothing of the ins and outs of boxing. i think i have clearly demonstrated that i do infact have knowledge of the sport and its history and frankly i have yet to see you make an attempt at having a credible post
