if you were a up and coming pro would you want frans botha on your record? i have not heard much about him lately just wondering what you guys think oh him
Why not? Okay, so he's about 67 years old and he's been inactive as **** the last 5 years. But he's fought and lost in the best company and as such it would be notable. I don't see a problem for a prospect to fight him. If its an established fighter something is wrong.
if fought and beat now then i dont think it would be a bad thing. he is a very tough guy, good beard, technically a former wba titlist, was outboxing tyson. i have no quams. he hasnt fought in a ring under marquis of queensbury rules for a long time and he is way way way past his prime. but he is a far better scalp than a low level journeyman. yeah i dont mind i was actually looking foreward to williams-botha. so he can bring a bit of exposure
Tank good for him. Like seeing you guys do well. Btw, any word on BJ Flores? You were asking around at the gym for him, last I recall.
still no word i asked matt and a few other guys but they said they dont know what the hell he is doin
David Haye thinks BJ would've given him a tough fight at Cruiser. BJ is very technical...I think he's gonna take a few titles along the way. As per wanting Botha, as an up and comer why not? I think the Heavies need more dudes like Botha. Grizzled veterans with spoiler ability are few and far between up there.
botha was a hard guy and someone you had to beat to be taken seriously - but this is 10 years ago. why are you talking about him now?
