Voted yes, but Cotto would fight Canelo first. More money, easier fight.

Winner of that fight gets GGG.

This wouldnt bother me all. Historically this happens very often in boxing and a fighterl ike Cotto has earned it. Would really like to see Golovkin get the chance tob e recognized as the true champion though.

Every one that is a boxing fan will answer yes.

Its obvious that the OP is a fan of certain fighters not a fan of boxing.

I would love to see this fight, and I see this fight happening at the end of 2015.

WBC has cleared Cotto to face a voluntary before facing his mandatory. That means Cotto can face Alvarez. In the meantime I believe Golovkin should try to target the new IBF champion, Jermain Taylor. He can blow Taylor out and grab his title, then the match between Cotto and Golovkin could be for all three titles.

I know, wishful thinking on my part, but a guy can dream, can't he?

Yes. It would be another fight that proves Cotto is B-level. The only A-level fighter he's beat is Martinez on two operated knees. Want to see the diva cry again and leave the post fight in a tantrum. And of course blame Roach and find another trainer.

I voted no. IMO, Cotto is not the real 160 lbs champ and has no business there. But since he officially has a belt, **** it.

    Yes.

I want to see GGG decapitate Cotto in front of his fans in Madison Square Garden.

If Cotto wants to play in the big yard, bigger kids ya know, then he should take this fight after Canelo.

I want GGG to face more top names and Cotto is almost out of the game IMO. I think this would be a great fight for us as fans.

I also think Cotto might be in line for one of Maywetaher's last fights.
Just a feeling so don't ask me for no facts or a link:lol::D

Yes. Give Cotto some credit. He's a great boxer.
