Zhang is so big and powerful boxers from that era have never seen anything like Zhang before 6’8 295 pounds with skull crushing power

How would Zhang match up against boxers from this era would he pick up a title

Not hugely confident because these guys would brutalise his body and take advantage of his poor stamina, I think Zhang is a lot more effective against taller fighters.

Can defo see Zhang knocking anyone out - even Chuvalo if he lands clean.

Zhang is the best bioengineering product China has been able to do to create a heavyweight boxer, who was able to do some damage on American and British levels but failed badly at the Turkish-German level.

Zhang is 6'6''. He would definitely be extremely hard to beat if he were actually in shape. The version that lost to Kabayel was Zhang at his worst and he still put him over.

Mate, Kabayel is of Kurdish descent, not Turkish. That's a horrific mistake to make, and I see a lot of people making it. Don't ever tell him that to his face, whatever you do.

In the early rounds he would be a nightmare and he could flatten a lot the fighters. I fear for him in some matchups if the fight goes past the mid rounds though.

Zhang carries about 20-30 lbs of excess fat/weight. If he was expected to be fighting 15 rounds he wouldn't be nearly as heavy as he is.

Zhang will get crushed badly by just about anybody decent. He does not know what it is like to fight in the conditions of those days, he would have to be in much better shape to fight 15 rounds and to fight often, against better opposition than he's used to.

So Zhang either trims down and acquires far greater stamina than he has now, learns some better defense, and works on his skills or else he is dead in the water. Won't even make it to Contender status.

With better stamina Zhang would be a threat, he has the size and power...

He’d get killed by every legitimate heavyweight.

He’s a fat, slow, one-trick pony with no stamina who is suspect to body work. What the greats of that era would do to him would be comically tragic.

Poor stamina and a weak resume in a very weak era. Doubtful....

Early doors of a fight he's pretty capable against pretty much anyone..

His Achilles heel is his David Price sized lungs.

Big heavy men need a big set...

foreman would have him for breakfast. he is an adequate hw, but far from great in any area. its just that his comp has been at his level or lower.

He's just not very good, and would be open season for anybody with a half decent boxing brain back in the day, of which there were lots.

That makes you wonder why he only started getting notable fights as he was approaching 40?
