I deleted my comment after I posted it due to thinking on it a bit more... Im not sure my post was a fair one considering Zhang wasnt even a pro at that age. Obviously logic would seem to suggest a 26 year old Zhang would be better than the Zhang we see today lol, but the truth is I dont think Zhang turned pro until he was already in his 30s so doesnt seem like a fitting reply by me. But yes I do think had he started earlier he would have seen a higher ceiling, being able to get bigger fights earlier. But thats besides the point I suppose. Either way, I do think he would be a force in the 60s. Even the guys that beat him today in his 40s, they have to overcome knockdowns to do so... I think hed have his fair share of success against mant fighters in the 60s with many not overcoming his knockdowns.
He would destroy them all with a time machine. But back then he wouldn't be 6'6 and filled with special substances from Chinese labs modernised by Murica. He'd be a 6' freakishly tall Chinamen who fought at MW. As for Kabayel being 'offended' by being called Turkish, he has no right to be offended by any mistaken classification if he wants to be 'cosmopolitan' and leave his land of origin. It's not up to the rest of world to know his niche little ethnicity. And since he comes from a Turkish-ruled province, then naturally people will assume that.
