To Haye anyway. At this point of his heavyweight career he's moving too fast from Barret straight to Wlad. Arreola would be perfect and a fight that would definitely interest fans on both sides of the Atlantic. Thoughts?
i too have thought that would be a great matchup....I just dont understand how haye can justify getting a title shot without fighting anyone...I mean really, hes like the heavyweight tarver, hes gone up the ranks by flapping his gums. Haye vs Arreola should happen before either fight a klitch
Why is it so bad he gets a shot. He was undisputed champion one division south. Sometimes when you move up in weight you get a shot. Espeicially when it makes sence financially. Hatton got a shot at a title one division north. Hopkins got tarver without a fight at light heavy. and that was 2 divisions norht against an undisputed champ in tarver. And the list goes on.
By this point since they can't agree to ****. Arreola wants the fight.. Let's make it happen. Haye should have checked himself and his place in the HW division and fought Wlad. Now that opportunity may have passed and the next fight in his immediate future probably won't be for a title.
Haye knows his chin is shaky at HW, and he doesn't want to risk getting starched without getting a huge payday. Don't expect him to fight anyone remotely dangerous until that happens.
Arreola should fight the winner of the Peter/Chambers match. It should look something like this Peter/Chambers-? Arreola/McCline-? winner fights Klitschko/Povetkin-? Of course Arreola can fight Haye if he beats McCline.
Of course it makes sense but you also have to understand that Haye does not want to take any risks. He wants a shortcut.
arreolas a joke who almost got KO'd by Walker! give me a break, Haye would KO the fat pathetic excuse for the next american heavyweight hope.
No, Arreola just took a knee. It just shows he was completely aware of the situation. He thinks in the ring. It is a possitive thing. Records shows that Haye gets KDs much easier than Arreola. Haye was KD by a super middleweight. Arreola has shown more than Haye so far and he is fighting McCline. He is not afraid to take risky fights unlike Haye who did not defend his titles as cruiserweight. He decided to make a local British fight instead of fighting other solid cruiserweights.
Arreola is obviuosly being treated like a prospect, which is why he's facing McCline, to learn. If he shows improvement (isn't so obsese) he should get a shot at Haye but i doubt it.
Ivo Haye beat Macc and Jean Marc Mormeck both of the top fighters in the division. He Dared fight for a world title after 10 fights. U can't critisce Haye for avoiding people, he only wants the best. If other fighters were like him boxing would be doing so much better.
Watched the Arreola V Couser fight last night on you tube. Dont know when it was but if it was recent then I would have to say Arreola looked awful. Arreola didn't land a punch...could'nt connect, threw dozens of punches? Could someone point me in the direction of some of his big wins so I can form an opinion.
