Wouldn't it be nice if we can get Rozanski-Romanov next?

    Look, I know Bridger is not a thing, and I have had some fun poking at it, but the reality is, if not for the racism of the WBC, we could have a great little scrap on the way.

    Romanov, Deontay Wilder's first daddy, had finally found an avenue to some good fights, being named #1 contender for Bridger. Then the Ukraine war happened, and as if it were his fault for what Vladiir Putin is doing, they revoked his status.

    Romanov-Rivas would not have happened anyway due to Rivas' eye problems, but with Rozanski derailing the Babic hype train, this would be an excellent little scrap between two good undefeated punchers.

    For me, it is time for the WBC to end their racism. They endorse fighters from horrific regimes around the world. The sure aren't banning Mexican fighters for cartel violence and the government graft and corruption that makes it possible, that is for sure, They can tell Romanov that he is not allowed to display the Russian flag, or have the anthem sung. Fine. But holding the man accountable for someone else's sins is wrong, period.

    Just another example of someone being screwed over or just plain unlucky as to being in the wrong era. Politics has stifled many a career. Teofilo Stevenson, Felix Savon, **** hate to think of what pro boxing history would look like if the world had ever been truly open.
    I look back on international test cricket. When South Africa was banned. That was probably the only time in history they could have dominated the sport or at least have given the great West Indies team some decent opposition.
