considering matchroom has no heavyweight fighter in their stable to speak of it would have made a good addition to the stable having a guy like price with them. he's going to be promoted on boxnation fighting no hope's. the man has the talent to send shock waves in the heavyweight division, fighting on boxnation isn't going to help him achieve him ambitions.
I don't see why price wouldn't want t sign for them he'd fight more often on bigger cards and could headline shows with bellew at the echo which would sell out, whereas Maloney has one big fighter and he'd be matched better at match room
He was offered a significant sum of money by Fast Eddie to switch, including Audley to bash up on Sky to make him look murderous. Chose to stay put. Time will tell if it was the right call.
It's the wrong call to stay with Maloney, but I guess Price is loyal. Hearn would promote him to the casuals, no chance Maloney can do that, Hearn would keep him busy, Maloney isn't doing that.
How many people are on the end of Hearn's dick these days. He chose to stay loyal (something Sky chose not to do)
Price has the potential to be a massive star in British boxing but that can only happen with the promotion of Sky or a terrestrial channel. Non-boxing fans aren't ever going to be exposed to the fighters on BoxNation and without those casual fans, there's no chance a fighter can become a real attraction. If Price wants to fulfill his drawing potential, he needs to switch to Hearn and go back to Sky.
Sky made the right decision to get rid of Maloney. Most of us were sick to death of pregnant Latvians fighting in leisure centres.
If Maloney can't put on good cards, he doesn't deserve the exposure Sky can give him. It's to the detriment of British boxing to have spaces filled up by Maloney's abysmal shows.
