    He dropped a big heavyweight in golta with one, count it, one right hand.
    It was adamek's famous short right after a fake jab that did it too. He dropped cunningham and banks with it too. I'm rethinking, after watching the 4th and 5th rounds, that maybe goral could be a player in the heavyweight division.

    The first two knockdowns were from hooks. :huh I thought that was the story of the night.

    He finished Golota with a hook that was set up by a right hand.

    Andrew Golota was finished. Nothing but a tune-up fight for bigger things in the future at Heavyweight. That said, Adamek had always shown great power in every division he has campaigned in.

    Adamek's always had a lot of power in his right hand. Tonight he showed that his hook is right up there as a primary offensive option. His jab also operated at a highly effective level. He also mixed in punches under Golota's guard to the body. Really he's not missing much to be the total offensive package.

    Agreed, but he DROPPED golota with a single right hands. His hooks just got andrew into trouble in periods of the fight. I know goral has power in both hands, but i just think he might have the most dangerous short right in all of boxing. It's a thing of beauty.

    Wow you guys are going too far with this .. Golata has not fought in a year and also lost his last fight. Golata is a out of shape, slow 41 year old, who best years were 12 years ago.. when Adamek faces a heavy with some speed, pop and some resilience we will see how well he does at heavy weight.

    I think this is more of a fact that the G-man is finished, this was more of a sparring session for Adamek. Tomasz will be around for a while, I hope he goes back down and cleans up the left overs without leaving any doubt.

    His power is good, it seemed to haven gotten stronger after he moved up from LHW. He never really hurt Dawson than again he wasn't throwing that much against Dawson.

    The thread title is about adamek dropping golota with 1 right hand, dude.
    Not about adamek winning the fight. Nobody thought golota would win, but few would've beleived that adamek could've hurt golota as often, or especially dropped him with one shot. Adamek is a cruiser afterall. I think this outcome def deserves alot of accolades, considering.

    Whats interesting is that the announcer revealed that Riddick Bowe called Golota before the fight offering part III.....I would watch it with all their history, drama, riot, etc etc

    Uh...I could swear the first KD (and I think the last one as well) were the direct result of hooks...:huh

    Just don't swear to God then beanie, cause the first KD was from a right hand. Promise. Don't remember a 2nd KD in the final round. Remember, I only saw the 4th and 5th rounds. If there were 2 KD's in the first then you saw a different fight than all the reporters in poland.

    Adamek has good power, but it was just a flash knock down. When Chuck Wepner knocked down Muhammad Ali, was Ali hurt? No, it was just a flash knock down.

    Well you can go back and read my posts in the Round by Round...I documented while watching that he dropped him in the 1st round with a hook. I believe it was a hook as well at the end of the fight, too. You need to watch the whole fight when you get a chance. Tomasz's hook, not his storied right, was the standout punch of the evening. :good
