Those kids are from the DC area I think, I'll seei f I can find out what gym. And I think they're only 10-11, they're each about 70-80 pounds.
According to the uploader, one is 11, the other is 13. The kid in black seems more physically developed though and the taller fella's voice hasn't even broken yet.
The kid in white's punches are very fluid and he can roll and dodge, but is a little flat-footed. The kid in black is more offensive and more prone to counters but has better footwork. Very good video.
Dude, you'll see little ones like this in a lot of gyms in every major city in the US. There's nothing wrong with US boxing, we have a lot of good boxers in the amateurs right now.
Good stuff :yep The kid in the black looks like he's going to be a brawler/ KO artist, and the kid with the white looks like he going to be the slick boxer.
Yep that's what I don't like about this forum. You've got two kids going at it hammer and tongs and displaying better fundamentals, all round skills and spirit than many of the adult pros but some douche member finds something to lump **** on about it from the safety of his keyboard at home. Congratulations hero on finding something negative to say about something ****ing awesome.
this guy puts up alot of good fights i posted his youtube on esb before as far as these kids go its good to see some talent coming up in the us great chins, footwork, and stamina for 11 and 13
Hey Kolya, a familiar face These kids are 11 (white shorts) and 13 (black shorts) years old. What you see here is great coaching, plain and simple. (I'm not their head coach, but I am an assistant and dad that does mostly conditioning). The 11 year old, Zimmie Dickinson has more than 50 amateur bouts (only 7 losses) and is currently #1 in the US in his weight class of 65lbs. and age group of 10 and 11 year olds. He has won the 2008 National Silver Gloves and 2007 and 2008 Ringside World Championships. He has also won the both DC area Junior Olympics and Silver Gloves 4 years in a row. Google him or search my YouTube site and you'll see plenty of his bouts. Carlton Gray is the 13 years old and weights about 80-85lbs. now. He has only been boxing for less than 9 months!! There is no secret about his strategy. It's full speed ahead and relentless. He's already faced several local champions and a Junior Olympic National Champion and he's held his own no matter who we put him in there with. The two styles compliment each other and they will make each other better. This was just some great action that I wanted to put online so that people can see how hard these kids work in the gym. The greatest part of these kids to me is that they are both on the honor roll at school and have been each and every year. Boxing is something that they enjoy, but both of these boxers will have options on what they want to do when they get older. Thanks for all the great comments and I'll pass them along to the boys. Visit my YouTube Channel for more great action from amateurs around the US and for some pros when they were amateurs. I'm glad to be part of this forum. YouTube Channel link click here
