Vitali in 6. Assuming Arreola is at least 245 that is. If he's 250+, it'll be another whale harpooning.
So what he doesn't look like a Greek god, he moves pretty good for a big guy. Least he's not a "hugger" like Ruiz. I do agree with the poster, Vitali will make him look like a club fighter.
Considering he is so fat, he's pretty quick and throws some half-decent punches. The weight isn't going to be the issue against Vitali, it's his porous defence, lack of head movement and reach which will see him pounded upon in a Sam Peter/Danny Williams stylee.
this will be the same like the kirk johnson fight, the fight will last not longer then four rounds, the first time arreole will get punched, he will get scared and then knocked out
Arreola is nothing more than a crude slugger. He has no chance against VITLAY despite him looking old as ****.
Arreola can be exciting to watch but I don't think he has a prayer of beating Vitali. I just can't see him getting past the jab - Vitali will break him down and ko him without too much trouble.
Moves pretty good? who would be your definition of a plodder in the footwork department then? Plodding is when he's at his best moving those feet and planting them to do anything. If he tried punching other than a jab while moving his feet at the same time, he'd fall in and probably take 2 steps to re-set himself.
I say that the guy needs ten more fight before challenging for a title. But with the current status of American heavyweights, any prospect is gonna get rushed up the ladder too soon. He has a puncher's chance, but that's true of most heavyweights. Vitali TKO6
Even if he loses this fight, if he doesn't lose his head he can be a force at HW for the next 5-10 years.
Arreola shows pretty good cardio regardless of his body shape and tends to wear down his opponents by overwhelming him which I find interesting due to his fatness. Heck If I never seen one of his fights and took a look at him, i'd say the best way to beat him is keep the fight busy and wear him down, but that isn't the case. He puts combos together well and has good power and his footwork isn't to shabby. No unless Vitali become old overnight I think he'll still lose. His offense seems to be his defense and he leave himself to open, Vitali will keep him away and pound him with his reach and reaction. Arreola is tuff though so I think he'll keep in it a while and take a beating like a man.
