this fight will not lose public interest. It is smart for a guy to take a break after probably his toughest fight in his career. Not worth it for Manny to come in weaker in March, when he can come in shape in May or June. Maybe Mayweather waited too long. Maybe Manny wants to be in Congress. Too bad Floyd waited, now he might have to fight Mosley which is not a great fight for him. Either way Floyd ducks everyone. The guy is a handpicker.

 

Manny has no choice but to fight now. No one will vote for him anyway if he turns down a March 13th date. His best bet is to put off his congressional run , and fight Mayweather on May 1st.
