The fight was stopped way too prematurely. But I commend Jacobs on this fight. They should've let Jacobs finish him. I knew that Jacobs speed would be a problem, but Jacobs power was even more of a problem.

Either a rematch or make GG Jacobs ASAP!:smoke

You have to allow fighters a chance to recover.

yep it was an AWFUL stoppage and I picked Jacobs, and even put a little v cash on him. the ref ruined a good fight.

quillin would have been hurt. he had no idea where he was. jacobs-golovkin would be on my list for one of GGG"s fights in '16.

In the fight game you get hurt. A part of boxing is a boxer trying to recuperate after being hurt. This ref is a good ref who made a bad call.

I didn't think it was a bad stoppage. I've seen far worse.

He did a chicken dance, if he was in the right mind to continue he should've taken a knee. He was gone, he had no idea where he was, and he wasn't protecting himself by holding/taking a knee. I'd have liked it to go a bit longer but it would've been the same result, and the ref is there to protect the fighter. The ref did his job well.

It was a good stoppage. If you saw Quillan's eyes they seemed to be out of there. I would have counted up to about 8 before waving it off.
