Why would the ref base his decision off another fight? You don't know how hurt a fighter is, you're not looking into their eyes. Quillin had his shot but he was separated from his senses, despite remaining on his feet. He didn't complain and was slurring afterwards. Good job by the ref.

I thought the stoppage in the last round was BS too, these ****ing refs need to remember people pay to go see these goddamn things, Lee hurt him worse and he hurt Lee worse.

Quillin was finished. A fighter doesn't have to go down to be done.

Exactly, when a fighter doesn't even complain you know the stoppage is good.

I think that some of you are being disingenuos, lmao. For once love the sport of boxing and put aside your personal feelings for a fighter that you don't like.

    It was a bad stoppage.

No it doesnt, when has complaining ever done any good?
Name me one fight when a fighter complained and the ref decided oh, LET ME change the decision from a stoppage and let the fight continue.
Quillin was in shock, he looked like he was about to cry.

It was a fine stoppage. Quillin was too hurt to even think about taking a knee.

The ref didn't have the option of giving a standing 8 count , as stated before the fight started . The ref didn't have a choice since Quillin never went down . Good stoppage .

If they meet again Quillin better tuck that chin in and pump the jab and move like crazy the first few rounds .
