Just because he didn't take a knee doesn't mean anything. He was hurt. Not everyone takes a knee when hurt. And so what he did the stanky leg. 100,000 boxers have done that and came back to win.

The first rule is to protect themselves at all times... Quillin clearly couldn't protect himself. The ref made the right call, if you've seen worse then those ones were the bad decisions, not this one. The contest was over, aren't you a fan of boxing? Or did you just want to see a guy take unnecessary punches so you could watch him lie down on the canvas? Have a word to yourself.

This isn't a butthurt thread. This is about a fight being stopped prematurely. And yes, I'd rather see Quillin given a chance to recover or be laid out.

Stop lying to the masses. He WAS trying to protect himself. And get rid of the "aren't you a fan of boxing" phony ass outlook. It was a bad stoppage. His hands weren't down and Jacobs was hitting him.

If you think Quillin was fit to continue in any way, shape or form you really don't understand what you're watching

Bad stoppage period. If your thinking otherwise, this probably isnt the sport for you as it hurts your sensitive nature to bear watching

They are agreeing with: As soon as a fighter gets hurt, stop the fight, lmao. They don't need to watch this sport.

Then that's Quillin's own stupid fault, everyone knows that if you're badly hurt and can't help getting blasted then you take a knee to recover a bit. That's just ammunition for the ref to stop it, firstly because the guy can't protect himself and secondly because his actions aren't showing that he wants to protect himself (evidence of Quillin's mind being elsewhere). Again, your references to other unnamed fights holds no relevance to this one. The ref is judging what is in front of him and he made the right call. It's done, deal with it.

You're the one who brought up the 'sport of boxing', I'm just replying to that. You don't sound like a real fan.
He wasn't seeing where punches were coming from, punches were landing and he wasn't landing anything in return. I've seen plenty of bad stoppages and that certainly wasn't one of them.

It's noT Quillins fault you dumb ****. He got caught period. This is what happens in boxing. Quillin had his hands up but Jacobs kept the pressure on him and wobbled him again. The ref doesn't need ammunition for anything because he shouldn't have stopped the fight. Quillin didn't go down in that last stanza. He was hurt but on his feet. And the "deal with it" part only shows how phony you are in thought. Go watch Ping Pong. It's obvious that this sport isn't for you.

And just because Quillin didn't complain of a bad stoppage doesn't mean jack **** lol. Everyone doesn't act like Zab Judah going after Nady.
