    Boxing fans are the biggest dis creditors in any sports.

    Here are some quotes from the boxing media PRIOR to Lennox's fights against certain opponents.

    Prior to these fighters facing Lennox Lewis

    Andrew Golota is the most feared man in the heavyweight division. Great talent and a star in the making.


    Razer Ruddock showed his true worth against Iron Mike Tyson that night and proved once again that he is a force to be reckoned with. Ruddock is rightfully the favorite against the inexperienced Lewis.


    Evander Holyfield got the heart and the will to take down Lewis. Still an elite p4p fighter the forever young Holyfield will take Lewis to the deep end.

    David Tua is one of the most feared punchers the heavyweight division has ever seen. Lennox in trouble.


    Michael Grant will be the next great heavyweight champ.


    Mike Tyson is only a 5-8 under dog because his power is still there and he is still very dangerous.


    Gary Mason is just too much for Lewis at this stage of Lennox's career.


    Lennox is done.. he just can't come back from a knock out loss at his advanced age. Rahman will finish Lennox's career in the rematch.



    Tony Tucker is 48-1 for a reason, he is still a skill level or two above the Brit. Great fight and should be a competitive affair from start to finish.

    I think Lennox was massively over rated.. his reign was the beginning of the end of a great HW era

    Anyone who DOESN'T think a 2002 Mike Tyson was shot to hell should never be allowed to give an opinion of anything...ever.

    I strongly agree with you.

    I think Lennox is definitely over-rated.

    But at the same time, I DO have him down as an ATG Heavyweight, and I most definitely respect his skills as a boxer.
