I never saw him fight at 130, saw him at 135 a few times and you could tell all those fights were miss matches. He was twice the size of Gavin Rees. As far as I'm concerned all his fights south of 147 hold no significance

Broner only has TWO fights at 135.....NONE....at 140 and ONE at 147...

He will be at a disadvantage the heavier he weighs because Maidana has fought way more LWs and Jr WWs than has Broner.

Keep that in mind.

They're supposed to be fighting at welterweight so it's a reasonable assumption that's the weight Maidana's going to come in at. If Broner weighs in at 150+ he would already have gained an edge.

Broner's fought at welterweight against Paulie so it's also reasonable to think he has been acclimatized at the weight, those three lbs at the least I was talking about would be translated to more hydration, punching power, punch resistance and all the other advantages associated to having the weight edge.
