Diaz wasnt overrated. Diaz fought a great fight but he lost to the better fighter. Campbell may just have his number

Diaz wasnt overhype nor overrated...He just wasnt as good as people here on ESB seems to think he is..

I didnt see anything special about diaz, never has..he throws alot of punches I give him that but if thats the requisite for being great then, I dont agree

Wait...how do you define those two words...that's exactly what overhyping and overrating is...when people have, and trumpet, overinflated opinions of someone that do not reflect reality... :huh

PAC doesnt need him especially now hes got bigger fishes

Experts on ESB (thats an oxymoron) can say what they want.

Nate will be coming back to earth pretty soon as well

No hes good...but people thought he was great...how they deduced that is beyond me... thats the problem..

for me I never saw great... I saw a solid fighter..I didnt see anything special..and if youve been watching the sport long enough..you can see the ones whos got "IT" and you dont have to be the most skilled.

Diaz is fine ... he won't be hurt by this defeat, he's still top 3 lightweights in the world.

Campbell wanted it more and went out to prove that... I knew that Campbell was going to win. Too much hype was surround by this guy in a deep division.

You still have guys like Cassamayor, Katsidis, Raiymkulov, D. Diaz, Khan, Santa Cruz, and Raheem.

Its going to be interesting to see how this all shapes up in months to come.

I think a more focused campbell will beat these guys ... he already beat J.Diaz and Kid Diamond, who were both undefeated. He made his mistakes early on but now a focus of big paydays is ahead and Campbell will get a couple.

As for Diaz there is still big fights ahead -- he can fight D.Diaz, PacMan (ridiculous but possible) and a rematch with Campbell.

Again "experts" at ESB will laugh, but I can see David D..bullying Juan if they meet...

I agree with you 100% about Diaz. But when people call a good fighter 'great', I call that overrating. For someone to be a hypejob doesn't mean they have to be a total bum - some very good, solid fighters can be hypejobs - it just means their fans vaunt their abilities as being at a much higher level than they really are.

i don't think this happens after tonight. diaz lost his shot to pac and the "big money" with this loss. baby bull is now out of pac's radar.

David has far more shortcomings than Cambell, who would dismantle David Diaz far worse than he beat Juan.

I disagree that David Diaz will dominate Juan Diaz. I don't think that David Diaz is on the same level as Juan and won't be able to keep up with the pace that the baby bull has.

I think that once Juan's eye heals - he will be in line for a big fight ... either a rematch with Campbell or a fight with Pacquiao if he wins against Marquez or a fight with the winner of Casamayor v Katsidis.
