I’ve long said this about Canelo being made to look pampered by Oscar. This is why I’ve never understood Canelo fans who lap up all the rest of BS.
Oscar always seemed to get stuffed in close fights and he always took it graciously.Im sure he’s gone out of his way to make sure it never happened to Oscar.

Just read the article now. I never realised canelo and Oscar had any issues until now so this comes as a shock. Don’t think the issues to do with how he’s managed him in the past. Just stuff like promising the GGG fight in 2020 and Oscar making sly digs at canelos trainers etc from what I’ve read. Think canelos just had enough of keeping the peace now so this adds some more drama to his fight

Maybe Canelo won't be getting any more favors from the judges in this one after all. Not a great idea to slander than man who made you, days before the toughest fight of your career.

Sure, when he had the deck stacked in HIS favour. However if he keeps biting the hand that feeds him, his 'handlers' will get sick of him and pull the plug on him. No more PED cover ups, no more favouritism, no more scorecard fixing.

Was the deck stacked in his favour against Mayweather?
He still lost. And he fought him at 23.
He fought Trout, Mayweather and Lara at the ages of 22 and 23, by 25 he was fighting Miguel Cotto and 3 years on he's fought GGG twice, Jacobs and is about to fight Kovalev.

Regardless of opinions on him, it's complete bollocks to say he doesn't fight the best.

He wasn't the A-side darling he is now back when he fought Floyd jr though. Why would the decks be stacked in his favor versus an obviously more proven, more established, and more popular fighter?

You're right with the rest. But one has to recognize that being the Cash cow he is now, he can literally choose who to face or not. He doesn't have, and really never had to, to run the gamut that more unknown fighters have fought to get their shots.

    I'll introduce a new narrative.

People keep saying. "Why would Golden Boy pick Kovalev? They clearly must know something, have some angle, the fix must certainly be in right?"

How about this one? Maybe Canelo and his team are that delusional and have genuinely been begging for the fight, and since Oscar and B-Hop have clearly been having issues with the little ungrateful fidget, they probably think he's going to be either walking away from Golden Boy soon or looking for a way out of his contract. So... Oscar is callously making the decision, if I can't have him, nobody will. I'll teach that little SOB a lesson he won't forget, if he wants Kovalev, I won't advise against it like I should, I'll feed him to him. What ever happens.... happens. **** him. Let him truly see what controlling his own destiny will look like without us being the puppet masters/behind the scenes influencers in chief. He might not like the end result very well.:naughty2:

This sort of **** always happens between dudes who come from nothing and make it big. Oscar would have been better off being born with a silver spoon up his ass......oh sorry I mean in his mouth.
