Wow, Castillo really did whoop Floyd ass !

based on scoring criteria:
ring generalship - castillo
effective aggressiveness - castillo
clean punching - castillo
defense - mayweather

floyd spent most of his time on the ropes or trying to get off of the ropes while castillo was stalking him. neither landed many punches, but castillo landed the cleaner shops.

 

Castillo lands a couple hooks and apparently it negates 2:45 where Mayweather controls. You dont win rounds for taking punches well. Too many are swayed by the HBo team and lederman is not a good judge, he scores whoever goes forward no matter if they are effective or not.

 

castillo landed more clean punches, bullied floyd around, and controlled the round. bottom line.

 

Are you on drugs? pbf is not landing anymore then Castillo, with no meaningfull shots landing and does not control the pace. So he dodges a few punchs, it does not win a round if the follow up is ineffective.

Agreed... I actually called it for Floyd myself but knew it was DEFINITLY close. Had JLC gotten the nod I wouldn't have been crying robbery. But I think the right man won. And like you said.....the rematch told the true story.
