I had Castillo winning 115-113,and Floyd was literraly bawling in tears about his hands,I think Jose beat him up,he deffinetly lost that, and the 2nd was 115-113 for Floyd. On the negative side for Floyd this was at his best weight except for 130,I could only imagine, what Duran,Arguello,Chavez,Pryor, and Sanchez would do to him,if Castillo beat him up like that,no disrespect to Jose he's a very good preassure fighter, but not to the level of the 1's that were mentioned, and some more im not thinking of and him fighting some of the great welterweights would not be good for him,i really dont think he is super great, but he is a great fighter.

I didn't even comment on that particular fight. I was responding to charge that people were unfairly going back 8 years to challenge his greatness. I simply said the reason they go back 8 years is becaues it's been 8 years since he fought a top level fighter that wasn't either naturally smaller or past his prime.
As for the fight itself, I had it a draw. But that's not the point of my post.

Just got done watching the fight again and it was clear victory for Floyd in my eyes. I score the fight 8-4 or 7-5 at the least.

I just find it funny the people trying to say Floyd really lost.

Most of them are saying it because they think it makes Floyd less great but in fact it makes him greater.

To come back from a loss and to go to accomplish the rest of what he's done.

Well if that is the case, the last time is during the rematch. Not the FIRST MAtch. But let me guess, during the rematch, castillo wasnt in his prime anymore.

Bottomline: I watch the fight first time i think i gave to castillo after rewatching months later i think i gave it to floyd. If somebody asks me right now who do i thought won i would say "Im not sure. Because thats just how close it was." AT THE END OF THE DAY, in the record book, it is floyd 2 castillo 0. And that is all the **** that matters. Its like the pacquiao marquez situation. I think that Marquez won both times but in the records its pac 1 marquez 0, tie and thats all the **** that matters. I dont hang on to my opinions of the fight to discredit pac or bring him down.

Its old, its the past, it doesnt matter. FLoyd is 41-0 learn to live with it.:deal

One of the reason people thought Castillo won was because of the commentators and lederman score card....which didn't mean **** and on top of that Floyd face wasn't busted or bruise like Luis....People are so easy sway by HBO **** talkers it makes them believe anything that comes out of there mouth.

Harold even gave Castillo the 3th round ....and thats crap.

Spot on! I was like how did he give Castillo the 3rd round? They were really hyping up Castillo and never could show any good shots in between rounds. I think the judges scored the fight the same way i saw the fight. Just watched the fight 40 minutes ago.
