I was wondering about that since I didn't see the fight yet...sounds like it was a bad night all around for him.

It's not as if he gets his ass kicked. He fights his fight. As previously stated, its just that 5 rounds isn't enough time for Ding to do what he does. If you saw the BJ Flores fight, it looks about the same, except that Hino is not as good as Flores, and I believe Ding would have eventually caught him in a 10-rounder.

He entered the tourney fat and out of shape. It's not a shock that he lost. I happened to miss the episode. I was hoping he'd do well because I like him but he just wasn't ready. When he saw he was tipping in at 210, and John Bray said cut your carbs to 0, in last weeks episode I knew things didn't look good.

He was never really that good to begin with.

Sorry, he might be a cool guy n all, but you guys on this forum hyped him to the max and even made ridiculous claims about him, once even saying he would KO Mike Tyson.

I remember when everyone was laughing when I said Adamek would beat him.

How was he the favorite when Felix Cora already holds a win over Ding?

Cause since that fight Cora has went to ****. That fight ruined Cora. He took Ding's best shots in that fight and since then he couldn't even stand up to Matt Godfry's shots.

If they rematch now Wilson wins by TKO around the 5th or 6th round.

I don't think he should retire. He needs a break. Regroup n fine tune some things..With that power and chin he has a few years left.

yea no kidding. I got tired of all these cats kissing his ass like he's something special. Sure he has a nice personality but that has nothing to do with his fighting ability. He's a upper C level fighter at best.

Because he has got world class experience,my first favorite is Cora who seems highly motivated and looked good. Then Ross who is also good and then Hoye.
But Ross and Hoye haven't fought so I can't really say.
The nigerian kid that beat Wilson....Hino also impressed me and is one of the guys that could do it.

No, a 5 round loss isn't bad for someone with his style, he may need to adjust the KO or be KO'd style to have a backup plan, just a suggestion Ding. :)

Hoye sucks. His "world class experience" consist of his getting KO'd twice in 4 rounds or less by average punching Light Heavyweights.
