The WBC seems determined to set up Holyfield for another title shot. I seriously hope this won't have a sad ending.

Even though holyfield is ancient and should retire,he has at least been more active. Yey Jirov is younger than Holyfield but hes seen his better days. Evander is probably 40 to 50% of his old self where as Jirov about 70% of his.So with that being said Im going with Evander I think Jirov will do okay for a little but Evander will catch him and hurt him around 7 or 8 rounds for a knockout, and unfortunatly a shot at the Haye Valuev winner.

This is not so bad actually.

I'd pick Holy to beat Jirov.

42-11 isn't a bad record to finish off with...especially with eight of those losses coming in the last decade of a 25 year career.

Both guys are well beyond real contention ...but that being said it should be a competitive match for a few rounds. I will watch it.

You guys keep talking bad about Holyfield, but in his last fight he CLEARLY defeated the man who David HAye is facing now for the WBA title and #1 spot to fight Klitschkos.
