Cotto's team wanted the fight with De La Fishnet, not Mayweather.

Mayweather took the De La Fishnet fight, otherwise it would've probably been De La Fishnet fighting Cotto.

    Do you really think so?

I think, if Cotto-Gomez happens in April, that the winner will fight Margarito (even if he wins or losses against Judah). Arum doesn't want Cotto to fight Mayweather.

Cotto was going after DLH. If Floyd wasn't fighting DLH then Cotto would of. That's why it's both to blame. Both went after the money. Cotto got short handed.

Lol thats because lil Floyd's body is breaking down and he needs a long break, remember?

Whats wrong with Cotto getting a payday while he waits for Floyd to take the hand cream off?

He's taken the easiest route possible for the most money even though he's a massive star who can get anybody a career high payday.
Going for Gatti for the 140 belt should be a clear indication of what I said above. Why wasn't the Hatton fight made then, at 140 when it had relevance and when Hatton was at his best?

He then jumped up to 147 directly after Gatti in what was a very easy division at that point for a potential showdown with the amazing Zab Judah.

His behaviour since then has been a clear indicator. Baldomir would have been fine if followed up with something decent, DLH first time around was excusable. Then the totally irrelevant Hatton fight after he claims he's retiring, then supposedly DLH 2 after he claimed he's taking the year off.

No intentions of ANYBODY of any real value. No Cotto, no Williams, no decent 154's even, just easy money fights.

That's no big deal, everyone deserves an easy fight here and there.

Hatton surely seemed eager even after he's physically eroded a little and had no advantages at 147.

And DLH is the most to blame of all them, let me add that.

It would go in this order:

    1. DLH
    2. Floyd
    3. The idiotic media
    4. Cotto and Crew/Arm

Be serious, anybody who gets paid a percentage of fight purses wants all their fighters to fight Mayweather every night of the year, its the biggest payday out there.

Floyd was in no position at 140 to call out Zoo and demand a fight, he went after Gattis belt and the winner was suppose to meet who we expected to be Zoo in a PPV showdown. Zoo lost and that left Hatton. The reason the Hatton fight was never made, Hatton's father said they weren't ready.

The fight with Ricky was a 140 fight that took place for a 147 title.

Ricky weighed 154 on fight night. What he normally weighs as a Jr WW on fight night. If Floyd would of gone down, no one would be crying but because it was for Floyds title its a big deal.

Floyd has stated after Baldomir he wants big money fights, DLH, Hatton, and DLH 2 are big money. Cotto is not yet big money. If Floyd wasn't fighting DLH, Cotto would be.

Nothing, which is why there are numerous people to blame for the fight not taking place.

Especially De La Fishnet, since both Floyd and Cotto wanted him and not each other.

please explain how cotto is not big money, considring that his last ppv sold more than any pbf had prior to dlh.

He doesn't want Cotto to lose. And, for Cotto, he'd have preferred a fight against De la Hoya.

Remember also that Arum declined a Mayweather-Cotto match in 2005. Of course you could say as argument that Mayweather was not a big payday in that time.

Mayweather and Cotto, for each other, are the biggest paydays each guys can make except for the cross-dresser.

But I have to question exactly how many PPVs Cotto-Mosley sold. The total of 400k was told by Bob Arum, which means it's 99% to be a lie.

I'm guessing it did around 350-370k

Because he needed Mosley to do it. Let's see what Cotto can do now since he beat Mosley.

Cotto hasn't broke 260 except with his one fight with Mosley.
