His hand are hurt and his fight from Hatton to DLH is going to be 10 months split. 7 - 8 months of rest without training.

How did Floyd bump Cotto out of the way to get another DLH fight? I thought DLH and Cotto were getting pretty close to inking up their deal.

If Floyd and DLH actually do this fight, I hope Oscar pulls off the upset. Not that I'm happy with Oscar throwing his weight around getting all these non-deserving fights, but if Floyd signs with Oscar it tells me he cares about the sport less than Oscar seems to.

Boycott this PPV if it happens. I will follow the round by round on ESB like a parasite so I guess I'm at leat partially guilty of the hype too.

I personally would not care to see this fight but way to many of you guy are quick to make floyd the scape goat.

 

just a thought, couldn't he have done the same thing with cotto. then he would have had his rest, and faced his biggest challenge.

 

Like I said, Cotto's crew isn't targetting him, they would rather fight Gomez/DLH then Mayweather.

And Ive never claimed it was purely Cottos fault. It's both. Floyd is going after big fights Cottos crew doesn't want Mayweather yet.

 

the point is pbf is in the position to make any fight he wants. the fact is he is the ww champion in a deep ww division, and has yet to fight any ww since winning the title.

i personally do not care if a fight sell 200000 ppv or 1 million. as i do not get any of the money. as a fan of the sport, i want to see the best fight the best. what good are ppv records when all they are is an exhibition fight where the outcome for the most part is a foregone conclusion.

1. DLH i used to have respect for him but this guy is really ****ing things up if it wasnt pbf it would have been cotto when everyone wants to see pbf-cotto. 7.Politics..if im not mistaken cotto has to fight someone ranked in the WBA to defend his title because the fight against mosley was a voluntary defense so i dont think a fight with pbf was possible for his next fight anyway.

 

It's funny how the Floyd fans give a **** about how much money that filthy rich **** makes, when he's already one of the highest earners in recent history.

A real fighter in his established position would be concerned about legacy.
