Damn Golovkin just can't seem to catch a break. :-(

If this keeps on happening we get that bullsh*t "who has he fought?!" until the cows come home. And even when he beats up the cows too, there will still be haters who use that argument to bash him.

If Ward shows the proper respect GGG will fight him. WArd only sells in craphole Oakland, in a glorified gymnasium. GGG sells events.

Sadly too risky with little attention for his very first fight at Super Middleweight.

Boxing sucks. A great, truly competitive fight happens once every two months. It's the only sport where the best aren't obligated to fight the best. In basketball, the LA Lakers can't duck the NY Knicks. Everyone has to face everyone.

I would be a huge boxing fan if it weren't so fake and staged.

That was just a Cali arbitration hearing - the Federal Court lawsuit is ongoing. Wards people were just on the boxing news sites, explaining that the fight is just beginning.

    Sad, I actually like Ward.

then lets hope Arum budges and we get this fight. no reason for it not to happen.

i feel bad that GGG seems to be getting ****ed over from every angle. the man just wants to fight to prove his worth, but the boxing world is making those possibilities a real big problem for him.

As of last night, Arum told the LA Times that they were trying to make the fight without the extension clause, so I don't know what the deal kill will be if the fight doesn't get announced tomorrow.

If no Chavez, they may attempt to get Peter Quillin if HBO allows it and Schaeffer's not unreasonable. They could go with Daniel Geale if he beats Macklin in May, but that's a quick turn around for Geale and big if. We could end up with Rubio or Vera for July. Both decent MW's, but big let down.

I know Hershman earlier in the year also mentioned Kessler as an opponent he'd love to have Golovkin fight. That would actually be a step up from Chavez.

Thats good news. Means HBO really is putting the screws to Arum to get the fight made.

Also.. Kessler would be good match... that would be a war.
