Castillo was robbed he was even named fighter of the month by the Ring after the fight with them saying how bad the decision was.
How bad the decision was? :rofl Castillo got A for effort and nothing more. Mayweather won that fight, but no point arguing just check the record books.:rofl
You probably had fraud winning by KO :rofl:rofl Castillo was robbed the Ring even had an article about how bad the decision was. It was disgraceful :-(
Yes, floyd may have won the first 4 or arguably first 5 rounds. The point is Mayweather did NOT win a round after 5th. Not a round. What round did you want to give him then? He even got the point dediucted and that was a 10-8 round right there.Castillo won the fight.
Exactly, Castillo scored the harder blows, was the champ and agressor thourghout the fight and had Mayweather on the run. Mayweather tried to reverse the tide and stand his ground in the 11th but got hammered with body shots and outhuslted down the stretch in that round. Yes, Floyd was better at the beginning of the fight but CAstillo was tronger during the middle and late rounds.MAyweather just kept running after the 5th round. Well, you can't win the belt by running from the champ.
I wouldn't say it was a robbery, certainly the margin on the score cards could be considered to be a little bit of a gift to Floyd though. Certainly from the armchair perspective. Could of went either way, or even a draw. Neither fighter did enough to beat the other. I scored it Castillo. However I'm not there. I can't get a sense of how good a punch was from TV like you can sitting ringside. You get a completely different sense of things seeing it live as opposed to TV Different sport, but take for example football (soccer). Watching a game live is completely different from TV. You can see players get clattered and hear the thud, see his facial expression and know he took a sore one, but watch the replays when you go home and it looked pretty tame. You get an appreciation for players body language more, their footwork, movement, etc when watching it live as opposed to TV. Similar applies to boxing.
Close fight could have went either way. No robbery. Name one fighter who hasnt got a close decision that could have went the other way.
